Correct cleaning process and precautions for laser lens contamination

Improper lens cleaning will scratch the coating. Please strictly follow the following steps:

Disassembly and pre-cleaning:

Turn off the device and wait for 10 minutes to prevent static electricity from attracting dust.

Remove the lens with special tweezers and avoid touching the coated surface with your fingers.

Deep cleaning:

The first time, soak a dust-free cotton swab with analytical grade anhydrous ethanol and gently wipe it from the center to the outside in a spiral.

The second time, use acetone to remove stubborn grease (only for metal lenses, not for aspheric lenses).

Inspection and installation:

Observe the surface of the lens with a high-power magnifying glass. Only install it when there are no scratches or water stains.

Ensure the lens is in the correct direction during installation (the coated surface faces the laser incident direction).

Note: Clean at least once a week. If the coating is found to be detached (rainbow-shaped reflection), replace the lens immediately.
